Advent waiting day nine. The second candle has been lit and the light is doubled in kind. More light, more darkness dispelled, more able to see the journey “round yon virgin” as we join her wait. We are all in this together, the wait, we are all waiting, God, His Son, His mother, the redeemed and the yet redeemed. Some, like you, are lighting the way, another candle here, another there until the world is ablaze for “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven”, who is also waiting to send us “The Light of the World.”
Just imagine, last night, all over the earth, believers lit one more candle and the light doubled—untold millions of lights became untold twice as many millions.
