What Do You Bring To The Waiting Table?

Advent waiting day fourteen.  I wonder how many people are actually waiting, desperately longing for their own annunciation, their own personal appearing of God as Man, their own personal relationship with The One and Only God?  Desperate people do desperate things, like daily reading, studying and meditating on His Book To Us, listening, listening, listening to Him, talking to Him honestly, living as if He was an ever-present presence, daily critically evaluating their lives as matching His, exceedingly generous with their cash, kind, kind to everyone, kind to those that wrong them.  Desperate waiting people do one thing above all else, they determine to know why and how, and then actually strive to live a life of loving Him with all their hearts, souls, mind and strength.  We can think that’s too great a sacrificial commitment to be made by faith but look what He brings to the table; we could start with light and oxygen.  When you are waiting you are bored.  When you are waiting on Someone you love you are intensely living in your wait.

What a home looks like when you believe in Santa Clause.
