Spring The Collaborator

Spring has come to Fair Haven, cool spring this morning, but spring nonetheless.  Spring is a great collaborator, we all want to throw in with her, helping her to usher in summer.  We plant flowers and scrubs, sow new grass and plant trees as Cairns of our commitment.  I like spring and fall, they are the slopes to the mountaintop of intensity, summer and winter.  Summer and winter wear on us and at the end we struggle under their extremes—but spring and fall ease our burden of extreme and readies us for the next extreme.  I’m committed this morning to being with spring, working with her to create summer, I’m gonna mow, plant and spruce Fair Haven and a small grace of this is that I know I will lay down tonight beside the Great Tennessee and rest the rest of the well done.
