To live in peace is a rare thing, one of the main reasons is un-confessed
un-forgiveness. Christ is firm on this, ‘forgive
me as I forgive others.” The rub comes
in that many times forgiveness must be offered over and over again, as often as
the person comes into our life or even our mind. One cannot forgive once and be absolved when
at the next thought or meeting that old un-forgiveness crops up. A key might lie in a forgiving span, a heart
highway if you will on which your forgiveness travels with you everyday for use
at any time it is needed. Your
forgiveness remains in place to be used at any moment. That way you do not have to go through the
ordeal of getting it out and convincing yourself to offer it every time it is
needed. Often forgiveness is withheld
because of the time we spend deciding if we are going to offer it.
