In ancient
Appalachia in another state at a Bed and Breakfast that harkens back to the
turn of the last century, half expecting the Innkeeper to have our buggy
hitched and tied outside for our departure.
It is Sunday morning coming down, deep fog cloaks the mountains and
trees that border our Inn and the gardens hang silently soaked in dew. It is very quiet. Read this in my Puritan Prayer book this
morning; “…teach us to live in thee; the Light-Dweller, inaccessible to man and
angels, hiding thyself behind the elements of creation, but known to us in
Jesus,” It is such reassurance that God makes Himself clearly known in the
created world but clears the oft cloaking fog with the Love that is Christ
Jesus, The Fog Lifter.
