A Pilgrimage: A religious journey.
It is important to retrace one's journey with God, to re-visit the places that hold significant meaning of one’s faith. I am on such a journey, silently sitting in a hotel room in the town where my journey began 54 years ago, thinking of the years God has kept me and those early days of childhood innocence before the wondering and sty living and of all the grace extended to me and all I still need and all that Grace Abundant has reserved for me. These old places now seem hidden, overgrown by commerce, like roses in kudzu, silent lights in black wealth drawing my heart back, away to the Manger and the Via Della Rosa and up from the Grave. I am on my Pilgrimage, being reborn again into The Love, The Forgiveness, The Lord that has all these years carried me where rarely my footprint can be seen.
