Even Broken She's A Good Teacher

There is a fog crawling up from the west slowly cloaking the woods, and river.  The sun will have its way though, as our earth spins toward it her warmth and light will burn it away revealing the blue of morning.  We are leaving Fair Haven today like the parting of best friends.  The longer we live here the greater our love for her.  She is such a wonderful home, home for us and every kind of wild thing, and she is a wise teacher, always pointing us to God and His wonderful creativity and kindness.  These twelve acres are our home, we will live out our greying years, lovers each, and we will die and be buried here but she, she will live on providing God’s kindness for our loved ones.  The earth holds a dear Godly kindness, a constant reminder of His faithful love and care for us, our provider and sustainer.  She belongs to Him, He made her, He keeps her and like us, she deeply longs to be made right as she was originally made but for now, she serves Him and us brokenly, but with abiding faith—see she is a good teacher!
