Robbed By An Apple

We have been robbed.  While we dazed in the haze of media and technology we have been robbed of one of our most precious assets, our physical participation with earth.  Hiking, planting, making, walking, altar building, swimming, growing, playing, discovery and adventure have almost disappeared from our lives, homes, neighborhoods and cultures.  We can tweet, but we can’t build a fire, we are great at gaming but we can’t hit a softball, we can Facebook but we can’t make a fort.  There is no greater gift on earth for your heart, mind, body and soul than to engage them with earth, wind, fire and water.  One of the great payoffs is awe for The One Who created all eight.

One of the most beautiful places in Jackson.
