I always notice a backwards “C” shaped group of stars east of
the Big Dipper. I looked it up and it is
the Corona Borealis whose description I couldn’t understand. Science gives us
unintelligible data that dulls the heavens.
Artists, poets, shamans and priests give us heavens founded on wonder
and awe leading us to search for meaning and purpose like the Psalmist, Ethan
the Ezrahite, I read this morning; “In the heavens You will establish Your
faithfulness...The heavens will praise Your wonders, O Lord…It shall be
established forever like the moon and the witness in the sky is faithful.”
