Fire Is A Great Witness Of Reverential Activity

I am kiln sitting again.  I have been doing this for 36 years, early mornings, late nights and even an occasional overnight.  It has become for me a ritual, a time when I am fully engaged in meaning, God is present, fire roars like a holy whisper, the fundamental elements are being tinkered with, the Ancient Holy Text is being read, I am alone physically but very much adjoined spiritually.  Ritual is something I have long sought, guided my family into and continue to make it a part of my daily life.  Ritual is where we are given the opportunity to align our living with the Spiritual/spiritual as a method of heightening or experiencing meaning.  Art making is the way I have found to make my daily life an act of ritual.  Involving The Specific Divine One in the process has exponentially increased my being able to quietly be in a regular state of reverential activity.

The witness that lots of carbon is being introduced into
the clay body to enable Ox-Blood Red to develop.
Fire is a great witness of Reverential activity.
