The sky is so blue, not a cloud to interrupt the spread of
cerulean stretching from horizon to horizon.
It is a hot blue, what I call flame blue. It holds no promise of rain to a land baked
dusty for days in heat odd for September and October, following record heat
this summer. What if it stopped
raining? I have often wondered what we
would do it if just stopped. We think,
“It rains!” But that is not true. Earth has many places where it use to rain
but one day it just stopped. There is an
icon on my phone that predicts rain in 10 days.
Often that name “icon” is really pointing us to “The Icon!”
