I have been blessed to have a way to sit beside The Great
Tennessee River and have now been with it over a couple of years. It, like all rivers, is a great miracle and
mystery. Its waters carry time from
great mountains and its bed is layered from the beginning of Eden. As I sit and watch it flow by I join a sacred
group of people who actually feel the mystery of it and stare at it as if we
were seeing a child of God. For thousands
of years a few humans have stood in the woods and looked out over these waters,
perhaps even here where I stand now, and have gently and sincerely worshiped
Our Great Father Maker of Great Waters.
PS: personal hotspot, another great miracle.
