SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2018 AD
November 10 is going to be a red-letter day; our seventh grandchild will be born today. Began the journey to our circling arms and incensed prayers last mid-night and today he will take his place, albeit tiny, in the unbroken circle of Bensons. A grandfather has a special place for grandsons, he sees his boundary line pushing out, his tent stakes stretched, his clan strengthening, his God more needed. We know not what this man will add to the family, how he will uphold our name, how he will live his life to serve and bring along—but we all know Who does and to Him, this new infant Benson will be given over for sure and safekeeping.
