Holy Ground

Sitting at the wood kiln in the dark rainy woods with four young pups.  I never knew when we built this kiln that we were actually proposing a Temple of God and that if we built it He would come.  But He has!!!  And these pups—filing empty heart and soul spaces with the Glories that He alone can conceive and share.  I smell their sacrament, McDonald's biscuit, and fresh coffee, as they stand at the altar and partake of the Heart and Mind of God.  They know not that at every rising of the door they look into the Face of God no more than we knew when we built it we were building Holy Ground.  But God comes and with every lighting He says, “Remove your religion, you are on Holy Ground”—and for those with ears to hear and eyes to see we have the opportunity to—be with God.   Sitting at the wood kiln in the dark, rainy, woods with four young pups; and God.

Thank you Marcus, Rob, Rebecca, Eric, Cynthia, Ariel, Zandrea, Bradley, Sarah, Aaron and any other Temple building pups I have left out.  You each add yearly to my life.
