It is a great role and high calling to stand before others
professing truth. Humans know basic truth, up is up,
2+2=4, today is Tuesday. It is the
greater truths that are most important and those must be learned, adopted and
practiced in order to know them. These
truths seem to remain constant across disciplines and are the secret to truly
understanding ones chosen discipline. I
have found several truths to be beginning points to understanding the greater
truths and being able to teach them. The
two most important are sincerity and understanding that one doesn’t know
much. To spend ones life discovering
truth and professing your discoveries is to “hunger and thirst after righteousness”, which always
leads one to be “blessed” and “filled.”
