The Passionate Gospel of Gratitude

Reading in Acts and amazed at the passionate joy they seem to have for sharing the gospel.  It is our every task to make the gospel of Christ evident to our world and the greatest gospel seems always to begin by a believers wonder at the splendor of our world and the reason why The Great Benevolence so generously shares.  No where on earth can humans find humans sharing with such generosity as one must concede is evident when it rains, when the sun regularly comes up, when cotton blooms the contours of the earth white and the acknowledgement that these acts seems to be endless. This life of sincere gratitude, lived out by the humble believer, is the foundation for the passionate joy of sharing the gospel; nothing is more pleasing in community than sharing your life of gratitude.  Shared gratitude, although not as grand as sharing fall colors, may be just as meaningful in The Great Scheme of things.

  1. "In the past, he let all nations go their own way. Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.” Acts 14:16-17
I don't know if this is what you were reading this morning, but this is one of my favorite passages. Our great hope when we share the gospel! A better witness has gone before us.

Thank you for your posts always. -MP
