There
was a quiet orange moon on this morning, stillness presenting it on pre-dawn
darkness. Orange circles drifting across
the dark heavens would cause even the dullest of us the urge to worship. I often wonder at human’s resistance to
worship. Worship is the most earnest longing of humans as our most honest
response to our most sincere experiences.
Why all this struggle? It puts us
in our place, second, and one place many humans can’t stand to be in is second. The night we can make an orange
circle float across the sky is the night we can move into First—until then, why
not worship?
