Self's Ultimate Expression

How does one understand life, how does it make sense?  Chance and luck seem to be the basis for much of our life.  But there is a contrasting element to this game of chance—love.  Love never seems to allow chance as an option but proposes itself as the only way in which life is to be lived.  It seems to be both the foundation to life and the measure of living.  And even though we don’t know where love comes from or how it becomes manifest in us it always offers itself as the choice we have.  Even when we feel it isn’t the best choice or the one we would prefer, we always know it is.  Love is the greatest mystery of life, but the only way we can know our best self—the ultimate expression of our faith in God.
