At its most sincere, its most true, art is a proposal of right
wins. Beauty is a declarative statement
of that truth. There is no reason for
beauty to exist based on time and chance.
Beauty or the possession of beauty by an object is first and foremost a declaration
that Someone is not only good but very good.
Sweet, warm water, a lover’s cheek and Jeff Koons’ Sacred Heart all
declare the truth of this.
