A Reunion Psalm For Betty
There
was a singular beauty deep and sincere unlike any earthly one I have ever known
and by grace she became mine in love unfathomable. This union has multiplied into 14 for reasons
only founded in the depths of God’s heart.
We would call the first four of the fourteen forward and say “Our love
is for naught if it is not founded in each of you and produce a hundred fold.” We have faith. We would call the three spouses forward and
say; “Our love is all for naught if our Foundation is not sewn into your
offspring and produce a hundred fold.”
We have faith. We would call the
first five offspring forward and say, “On your shoulders now rest all the
weight of The Glory of the Benson family.
Our love is all for naught if you do not produce a hundred fold.” We have faith. Last we will call The Great Beginning forward
and say, “Our love is all for naught if You do not prove faithful and in us and
all to come You produce a hundred fold.”
We have faith. And then on old,
bent, gnarled knees I would bow down to The Great Beginning and say, “Praise
You God Almighty for giving that singular beauty, deep and sincere, Betty
Brown, to me.”
Beautiful and so fitting!
