Red Rover, Red Rover

“For I hold you by your right hand—I, the LORD your God.  And I say to
you, ‘Don’t be afraid.  I am here to help you.   Isaiah 41:13


Handholding is a divine gift, from the hand that walked you to the first grade to the hand that you held at the altar.  Holding hands to cross the street, in the huddle, saying the Lord’s Prayer and holding hands to provide courage, offers guidance, and help along.  I wonder if God’s first thought in giving us hands was to give Him something to hold us with.
