100 BTU

The third candle is lit.  There is more warmth in our homes, in our lives and in our world.  Yesterday thousands, perhaps millions of third candles were lit and it is firelight, warm, magical, not of man and offering its tiny bit of warmth to our homes.  When Jesus was inside Mary’s womb He was a part of her 98.6° but soon He will be born and His own 98.6° will be offered to help warm the world.  I wonder how much all of our 98.6°’s helps to warm the world?  Certainly, my lover’s often warming me.  But with Jesus’s human warmth is also added His Godly warmth, His warmth of love, of forgiveness and acceptance.  He seeks to add to our human warmth, eternal warmth, the warm sign that we are indeed alive and alive forever.  I wonder how warm our bodies will be in heaven?  I imagine warmer than 98.6°.

100 BTU's is the heat an average candle gives off.
