For the first time in two months my lover’s warmth has been mine
for five days. Today we return her to
her duties and Sunday we will part both to our living burden. I have found that warmth, the kindled heat shared
between bodies living quietly together is such a precious gift and one for
which a mountain altar would not begin to tell Him of my hearts earnest “thank
YOU, O LORD my GOD; for YOUR warmth is one of the most sincere things lovers
share!!!”
