Valentines Day began as a religious
day celebrating a man named Valentinus who was martyred on February 14 late in
the third century A.D.
“But
God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners,
Christ died for us.”
“This
is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.”
I
have often mused about what happened in Heaven when God invented the Cocoa
Bean. I bet all the angels fell down
laughing in delight at all the joy that humans were going to experience with
chocolate. Valentinus should be a
religious holiday and chocolate should be the festival food and Christ should
be praised for preparing a way for us to be with the Inventor of chocolate
because if You invented chocolate you sure do love humans.
