Huntin Dog Named Salt

“For everyone will be salted with fire.”

Mark 9:49

At times the salt is being rubbed roughly into our most inflamed wound and the pain burns like fire.  Little consolation but factual, everyone is going through it.

“Have salt in yourself and be at peace with one another.”

Mark 9:50b

I guess the point is to not be the one rubbing salt in other’s wounds.

As country folk would say, “That dog will hunt!”
