I am settled in beauty so serene. Fire is softly going, the Tennessee is slowly
moving by beneath a rain soaked grey blue sky as I drink good coffee and read
The Ancient Text. My lover sleeps
warmly, my dog the same. And yet I am
suddenly smitten by the lives at Allepo, as foreign to me as I am to them and I
know with no doubt that I will be held accountable for how I responded to
them. My God my God, You are sufficient for
all the earth and in my prayers give me power to, in some great mystery,
increase Your sufficiency.
