It rained last night. Not
a lot and certainly not as plentiful as we need but it did rain. I am grateful, not so much because it rained
as for the day it rained. It rained on Election
Day, a day when much is at stake. It was
God’s reminder that although there is much on the line during a presidential
race only He could make it rain. He also
reminded me that we need to make much of Him and let others make much of the
presidency.
My wife and I will vote today as we do at every opportunity and now
I am encouraged. I am encouraged to
renew my commitment to loving God and loving my neighbor because only God can
make it rain which means He is truly sovereign even over our President and our
Supreme Court. They, like all of us and
yes even the rain, will do exactly and only what He allows.
