Every morning I try and read a short passage from one of John
Brockman’s books. He asks “today’s
leading thinkers” to answer a specific question and then edits the answers into
a series of best selling books. I am
currently reading; This Explains
Everything, Deep, Beautiful, and Elegant Theories of How the World Works. In every book the answers are indeed
beautiful, well thought out and thought provoking but I have noticed that many
of the “leading thinkers” declares their answer proves there is no God or no
need for God. What strikes me as ironic
is that if you truly didn’t believe in God why would you ever think you needed
to prove it. Wouldn’t that be like
trying to prove there is no Sponge Bob?
