I saw a Cardinal this morning and its beauty moved me to praise
but almost instantly a Red Bellied Woodpecker interrupted my praise. What stopped me? Red!
My original praise seemed shallow when faced with another red. What were more worthy of praise; two
beautifully colored birds or that Someone invented red and shares it with birds
who share it with me?
