Peace, I was raised in a period when world peace was the hope of
a whole generation. It was foundational
to our existence, our art, music, movies and religion. It is still foundational because it has
always been the goal to give it to us; "I am leaving you with a
gift--peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot
give.” Peace is a state of human
hearts and minds and the search for it is as inevitable as our search of the
heavens for meaning. We are created to
live in a state of peace.
