We Could Be Adam and Eve

Waking up on a winter’s deserted island laying far off the mainland is Godly.  There is sea, sky, land, you and your soul, heart and mind renew their acquaintance long since closeted because of your busy life.  Our minds, souls and hearts really like each other and commune sincerely to allow you all manner of life that you had forgotten while you busily existed.  This morning they are considering marriage and its evolutionary likelihood.  If left too time and chance we might believe that humans could have somehow stumbled into being.  To believe that man and woman could come to be would stretch the most vivid child’s imagination.  To believe that marriage could evolve, especially a wonderful marriage, would be asking of time and chance something in no amount of time and chance, they could do.  Marriage is so akin to Godliness that only God can account for it.  The literalness of two people becoming one is more like magic than happenstance and a magic of the sort found in fairy tales.  To define it in a biology book would be like trying to explain the DNA double helix by kissing.

12 miles of beach and we were the only humans, married or otherwise.  I know we could do Adam and Eve!!!
