Convincing The Cosmos

There is nothing so filled with the divine than the creative act.  In modern secularism there is also nothing that is so irrelevant.  It can mean nothing that art is created.  It does not serve humans at all in our ongoing quest for the continuation of biological complexity.  Art, I have heard it explained by an atheist biologist, is mans attempt to work out ever increasing complexities that threaten his existence.  Art has never been that for me.  Art has always been a quest for human relevance, to somehow embrace the entire cosmos with the thought that unlike matter, I matter.
