Zechariah 4-8
Flying scrolls, bronze
mountains, angels of the Lord, colored horses patrolling the earth and more
create images and passages hard to understand. But there’s something harder than vision here,
“And they made their hearts like
flint so they could not hear…” 7:12
The bible is the most valuable
physical object on earth. It is
the Word Of God. How much would
you pay if you believed It to be what It claims to be?
Think of it this way. What if we found a book written by Adam
and Eve? Christies couldn’t
auction it off. We would build a
mansion to hold it, display it behind armed guards, security camera’s, and in a
armored display case and sell tickets to the throngs that would come to see
it.
The difference. The Word of God is lying in your home
and was written to be read not seen.
