Daniel 12-Hosea 3
There is a lonely sweet bird
singing in the forest this morning, a few true notes. Another one, deeper still, repeats the same song. They echo the Bible this
morning. Men of old sing in chorus
of God’s love for us and His desire for us to be reconciled to Him. Others hear and repeat the refrain
passing it up through the ages to you this morning. Listen!
“And I (God) will betroth you to Me
forever;
Yes, I will betroth you to Me
in
righteousness and in
justice,
In lovingkindness and in
Compassion,
And I will betroth you to Me in
Faithfulness.
Then you will know the
Lord.” Hosea 2:19-20
The refrain,
“Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now I’m found
Was blind but now I see…”
