Jeremiah 13-16
God is mad! Why? Because His people have forgotten Him. Forgotten is the wrong idea. It is the same “wrong idea” that
Nietzsche committed when he said, “God is dead.” He didn’t mean God had passed away, he meant that God never
was. That is the truer truth of
the problem; we act as if God doesn’t exist.
A friend called me last night
from Colorado. She had been
camping and had swum in an ice-cold mountain stream. She said she came out and laid on a rock and the sun “felt
so good.” THERE, RIGHT THERE is
the crossroads of all humanity.
Who will you give credit for that sun? Time and chance or God?
