Morning
quiet, if sold on the open market, would be cheap. Not because it is un-valuable, but because so
few have experienced its value. Morning quiet
is one of those great luxuries that is available to the pauper because, like clear
mountain spring water, the world has grown accustomed to drinking in the tepid sloshing’s
of maddening commerce.
I was thinking about morning quiet this morning too. How it is easy to imagine that you are the only person in the world conscious and talking to God when no one and nothing around you is stirring yet.
