Sunday School Lesson
“…and shall fear the Lord and
His goodness…” Hosea 3:5b
Why would we fear the Lord’s
goodness? An evil Lord would
demand our imitation by threat. A
loving Lord, loves us, not because we are lovable but because He Is Love. This causes us to experience a deep
sense of gratitude leading to imitation.
A good God is to be more feared than an evil one; we must love the
unlovable!!!
Post Script: Fear of God means reverential awe!!!
