John 7-9
“When He
(Jesus) had said this, He spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and
applied the clay to his eyes…And so he went away and washed and came back
seeing” 9:6-7
That sounds familiar!
“Then the
Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground…” Genesis 2:7
I can imagine in the act of making clay Christ was sincerely
harkening back in memory to those carefree days in the Garden when He and His
Father had created man…
…because every potter knows you repair clay with clay.
