What Do Your Grandchildren Deserve?

Psalm 97-103

Who’s taking care of all this stuff?  All this oxygen, making dirt grow food, making birds pretty, bringing rain and allowing us to smell coffee.  Why do we sleep and why do we love?  Who thought up grandchildren and loyal old dogs?  Doesn’t it seem like Someone is enamored with us?  The Psalmist sure thinks so.   

One of the greatest reasons to have a prolonged and consistent walk with God is children.  Either the world is a wonderful and beautiful place made to make us joy-filled with a sweet end or it is a rat race with a really mean end. 

“But the lovingkindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and his righteousness to children’s children.”  103:17

Grandchildren deserve a granddaddy that believes in the sweet end!!!!
