Proverbs
24-27
The
title of these Proverbs are Similitudes which means the condition of being
similar or having shared characteristics.
I went fishing yesterday with my oldest son, Aaron. Reading the Bible is a lot like
fishing; you never know what you’re going to catch, but you’re always filled
with eager anticipation. This
morning the beauty of words and the truth of their meaning caught me.
“Like
apples of gold in settings of silver is a word spoken in right
circumstances.” 25:11
How
about these words;
“By
wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by
knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” 24:3-4
