One need only taste a bit of
chocolate or the lips of ones lover to know there is a God in heaven and He
seems bent on indulging us. The next
time you are bound to melancholia write down how a strawberry tastes. It is an impossible journey of joy.
(My wife would automatically think we
should dip the strawberries in chocolate before we begin to write.)
“One must ask children and birds how
cherries and strawberries taste.”
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
