Adoration 14

“what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God!”;  “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble…”;  “Oh Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years…”  Micah 6:8, Nahum 1:7, Habakkuk 3:2

Christmas is about our purpose.  What are we to do with our life, what’s its purpose, our reason for being?  Look at the beginning.  God wants to walk with us, be with us, and stroll with us in a garden paradise.  Christ is God’s way of opening up Eden again, extinguishing the flaming swords, pushing open the mighty ancient gates and to say to each of us, “Welcome back, I have missed you!”

God I've missed our strolls too.
