I’m
on the road again, early morning coffee and quiet, strange chairs, strange
sounds and strange location. I love the
road, the adventure, and the wonder at what’s around the bend. It gives life a certain mystery that allows
the joy of discovery. Discovery is a
great gift of childhood that adults trade away for routine. A new shell, a new hill or a new hotel holds
great promise for the young or the young at heart. The promise of today, building sculpture in
an old Catholic church in downtown Louisville with my wife, son, studio
assistant and seven Union students. I
told you that bend held potential.
