My Lascaux

I can stare at the snow as if it is God to me, a gift to say I love you.  There are times when you need a Lovers Gift because the Lover is distant, cannot hold you as They are meant to, cannot whisper in your soul, “I love you”.  God, if anything, is the greatest Love Promise we can never imagine.  A love like this can only exsist in a long forgotten cave, walls marked with angels and stars, manger beasts and a carbon mark of death.  But deeper in the cave you will find a room with only a blood stained handprint.  That is the Cave of Love.  It is from this cave I view the snow this morning, my love letter from my King.
