West Tennessee's Saving Grace

I was at the Mississippi River yesterday, sitting with my lover.  The sun was sparkling off the river as it literally ran to the sea.  It was gorged ripe with silt like the swollen breasts of a new mother.  I was taken by the hope of it all, that this body of water had been flowing since God uttered, “Let there be water” and had carried enough of the planet to nurse a new earth.  This breast of earth was nourishing me more than most services and filling me with loving hope for God.
