Praise God Birds Fly

Birds are back.  Spring is here and they come flying back.  If birds had never flown then neither would humans.  For if we had never seen a bird fly we would never, even in evolutionary time, dreamed that we might fly.  But the truer truth is that we would never have dreamed up flying.  Can you imagine a world were nothing flew and then humans, in some fit of creative ecstasy, proclaiming, “let us ______!”  We would not have even thought up the word.  We owe a lot to the birds…we owe a lot to the birds Creator.
