Yesterday was so hot and
humid. One of those days that make
you wonder at the wagon train that stopped here declaring its occupants
home. At around 3:30 the wind
shifted around steadily from the north and by 5:00 it was a perfectly beautiful
day, azure skies and mild evening sun.
The brilliance of God is often played out in front of eyes that don’t
see, ears that don’t hear and skin that doesn’t sweat. Like a master violinist that plays
because he is a musician, God is good because He is God. Sighing ecstasy is optional.
