The Ring on the other half of Half Dome

It does seem that everything is trying to be something that it just can’t seem to accomplish.  Trees are trying to be bigger, dirt is trying to be productive, rocks are trying to stay whole, the earth is trying to perfectly rotate and revolve and the universe is trying to expand somewhere for some reason.  Words try to fully explain and I am always trying one thing or another to improve my lot.

Why?

It seems that someone or something has placed perfection in front of everything and has command it be the goal!  And there are contenders.  Trees have the Giant Sequoias, rocks have Yosemite’s Half Dome, (half being important to this line of thought) and humans have Mother Teresa.  But their all contenders none have snatched the ring.

It would be logical that if we are all so busy pursing this goal that we would have to believe that it was obtainable, that someone or something had done it which gave each blade of grass and human being the hope necessary to keep in the game.  That is the key, hope that it can be done.  Christ is that hope.  He did it and He produced examples of the possibility for everything else.  He made water wine, picnics banquets, storms calm, greedy people abundant sharers and death life.
