Luke 13
“And they
will come from east and west, and from north and south, and will recline at the
table in the kingdom of God.” Jesus, vs. 29
One of the great joys of faith is the casting off of the
burden of reality. We feel such a
burden to prove everything, to nail down all sense information into scientific
data. Faith allows you to live
like a child. Listening to falling
leaves, night becoming day, crickets keeping rhythm as good as waves, and
morning holds all the hope of an eight year old’s first football.
Reality for a believer is a continual state of joy filled
marvel and gratefulness.
Proving takes such an effort while faith is like reclining at the table.
