Nature Doesn't Possess Mercy!

Jeremiah 5

‘They (God’s people) do not say in their

         heart,

“Let us now fear the Lord our

         God,

Who gives rain in its season,

Both the autumn rain and the

         spring rain…”

Your iniquities have turned

         these away,

And your sins have withheld

         good from you.”

                           5:24-25

Dad gum, what does God want?!!!

You know what’s a better question? Can we make it rain? Is something as lovely as humans really at the mercy of nature?

The answer to the first question is found in Matthew 25:31-40.

The answer to the second and third is…NO!!!
